MCYFL 10U PLAYERS AT NATIONAL NFL FLAG CHAMPIONSHIPS

On Saturday May 17th, the members of the Mill Creek Cougars Junior tackle team and some future MCYFL players joined together to play for the NFL Regional 10U Rec Flag Championship.   The Cougars played 3 hard fought games against a very good team from Tri-Cities.  After splitting the first 2 games, the Cougars put it all on the line in games 3.  Game 3 was a great defensive effort that resulted in a Cougars win 12-6.  The game was highlighted by an amazing 25yd TD catch by Championship Game MVP Kellen Myers.  Next for the Cougars is the National Championship in Canton Ohio, July 17 to July 20th.  Go Cougars!!!
